Abstrak: Konsumsi BBM erat hubungannya dengan
sektor transportasi, sehingga dalam memperhatikan efisiensi konsumsi
BBM, hendaknya diperhatikan pula sistem transportasinya. Perkembangan
sistem transportasi dapat berdampak negatif pada suatu wilayah, antara
lain tercemarnya suatu lingkungan, dan kebutuhan bahan bakar yang
meningkat. Kebutuhan bahan bakar dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor,
diantaranya jumlah penduduk, panjang jalan, dan kondisi jalan. Jumlah
penduduk tiap tahun sebuah wilayah tergantung pada jumlah kelahiran,
kematian dan migrasi. Panjang jalan suatu wilayah tergantung pada
tingkat kebutuhan penduduk akan sarana transportasi dan akses dalam
bermobilisasi. Faktor yang mempengaruhi kondisi jalan antara lain:
faktor perencanaan jalan, pelaksanaan pembuatan jalan, penggunaan jalan
dan kondisi alam. Pertumbuhan jalan jauh lebih kecil daripada tingkat
pertumbuhan kendaraan, hal ini berarti menunjukkan terjadinya pembebanan
yang belebihan pada jalan, sehingga mengakibatkan terjadinya kerusakan
pada jalan. Analisa hubungan panjang jalan, jumlah penduduk dan kondisi
jalan terhadap konsumsi BBM dibutuhkan agar masyarakat tahu seberapa
besar pengaruh ketiga faktor tersebut dengan peningkatan konsumsi BBM.
Pengaruh paling tinggi terhadap konsumsi BBM adalah panjang jalan, (R2=
0,804). Jumlah penduduk juga berpengaruh kuat dalam konsumsi BBM (R2=
0,768). Sedangkan pengaruh kondisi jalan terhadap konsumsi BBM yaitu
0,617..

Abstract: Fuel consumption is closely related with transportation, then when we conservation about efficiency of fuel consumption, we also must give attention for transportation system. The development of transportation system give impact for each region, such as air pollution and increase fuel consumption. Fuel consumption influenced by several factors, it is number of people, length of roads, and road conditions. Number of people for each region depend of number of births, number of deaths and migration. Length of roads depend from needs of the transportation facilities and access for mobilizing. Road conditions influenced by several factor, such as: planing of road, implementation of road construction, road used and natural condition. The growth length of roads less than quantity of vehicles, it means there are over weight on the road that made damage on the road. Correlation analysis from length of road, number of people and road condition with fuel consumption needed for give information to public about impact of it. . Highest influence of fuel consumption is length of road (R2= 0,804). Number of people also give high influence for fuel consumption (R2= 0,768). While influence for road conditions on fuel consumption is 0.617.
