Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh
bangkitan perjalanan penduduk terhadap kinerja jalan utama kawasan
Perumahan Bukit Banaran Semarang. Permasalahan penelitian adalah jumlah
anggota keluarga yang bekerja/sekolah, tingkat pendidikan, jumlah
pengeluaran, dan jumlah kendaraan yang mempengaruhi jumlah perjalanan.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survai dengan pendekatan kuantitatif.
Sampel penelitian adalah 290 keluarga / rumah dengan teknik proportional
stratified random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 37,6%
keluarga memiliki 2 kendaraan dan 27,9% memiliki 3 kendaraan.
Karakteristik Perjalanan Penduduk di Kawasan Perumahan Bukit Banaran
Semarang, 87,7% menggunakan sepeda motor untuk aktivitas sehari-hari.
Tujuan lokasi perjalanan adalah Semarang Tengah (27,1%), Gajahmungkur
(20,9%), Semarang Selatan (15,3%) dan lainnya menyebar di berbagai
kecamatan seluruh Kota Semarang. Rute yang di lewati adalah arah Kelud
(71%), arah Bendan (20,7%) dan yang lainnya ke arah Sekaran. Simpulan
penelitian bahwa zona 1 : Y = 781,48 kel/hari, zona 2 : Y = 518.46
kel/hari, Zona 3 : Y - 414,89 kel/hari, zona 4 : Y = 420 kel/hari.
Pengaruh bangkitan perjalanan 220,7 smp/jam sedangkan prediksi pengaruh
bangkitan Tahun 2012 = 264 smp/jam, dan Tahun 2017 = 384 smp/jam lebih
kecil daripada kapasitas jalan utama kawasan Perumahan Bukit Banaran
sebesar 1284,91 smp/jam.

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of trip generation resident of the area's major roads Housing performance Hill Banaran Semarang. Research problem is the number of family members who work / school, educational level, total spending, and the number of vehicles that affect the number of trips. This study used survey methods with quantitative approaches. The research sample was 290 families / homes with proportional stratified random sampling technique. The results showed that 37.6% of families have 2 vehicles and 27.9% had 3 vehicles. Travel Characteristics of Population in the Region Housing Bukit Banaran Semarang, 87.7% use the bike for daily activities. Semarang destination travel locations are Central (27.1%), Gajahmungkur (20.9%), South Semarang (15.3%) and others spread in various districts throughout the city of Semarang. The route is skipped Kelud direction (71%), the direction Bendan (20.7%) and the other in the direction of Sekaran. Conclusions of research that zone 1: Y = 781.48 families/day, zone 2: Y = 518.46 families/day, Zone 3: Y - 414.89 families/ day, zone 4: Y = 420 families/day. Effect of trip generation 220.7 pcu / h whereas the effect predicted rise of the Year 2012 = 264 pcu / h, and Year 2017 = 384 pcu / h less than the capacity of the main housing area at Bukit Banaran 1284.91 pcu / hour.
